valSafe is our risk management and assessment tool. It helps surveyors understand a set of underlying risk factors when valuing a property and identify possible over valuations in their residential expert valuations.
The way valSafe works is by checking the valuation of the property under assessment, against a set of data points. It will return alerts in case the risks identified are not in line with the predetermined risk appetite/level of the user.
valSafe assesses each valuation report against 9 automated system checks including our proprietary Automated Valuation Model valCheck Pro, market data transactions and local evidence. It flags an alert if any of the checks fail the accepted criteria limit setup.
All scoring parameters and risk levels will be customised in line with your risk appetite.
